Seeing the Pope was unexpected and wonderful.

I loved going to the small villages and to the family homes and family businesses. I could have done without Florence because the day we were there there was a marathon going on with an extra 40,000 people so it was not enjoyable.

Hiking the coastline at Costa Brava during our tour extension, visiting Monsarrat and the Alhambra.also loved visiting Parc Guell in Barcelona on our own. I like outdoor natural experiences mixed with cultural and historic sites. Great trip!

Stresa was great, so was cinque terre and Portofino. Staying at the villa was very nice. The Maggiore cruise was wonderful. We should have stayed longer in Florence. Venice was lovely. Accommodations were great. The tour manager Cristina was very friendly. I would definitely go with Collette again in the future.

Lucerne and Habkern were great experiences. Really enjoyed the Tyrolean Folklore show too. The Oktoberfest was a different than i expected and I’m so glad we were able to attend.

Off the beaten track. Amalfi coast was charming, but the lesser known Matera, Lecce, Otranto and Alberobello were especially unique! Dario, the tour manager, made the tour very enjoyable!

Our river cruise was wonderful. Collette and our tour manager were very adept and creative when the level of the water in the Rhine forced a change in our itinerary. Even on the short bus rides our tour manager found something to show us, which we would never have seen otherwise. We scheduled an extra day in Amsterdam at the end of our cruise, which allowed us to spend more time in this fascinating city. We will certainly be looking into another river cruise with Collette.

We loved our trip and would highly recommend it. Jackie was our tour manager, very knowledgeable and very friendly and entertaining. The hotels were first rate and the food was very good. The sites that we visited were awesome in that the age of so many castles and monuments were so much older than the U. S. It was easy to picture the Vikings and other warriors coming through and settling along the rivers and countryside. I want to go back because there is so much history, I couldn’t take it all in the first time! Finally, it was good to be able to walk among the Irish people and see how they make a living and many exports that they have.

Very beautiful and fun trip with a great group and EXCELLENT Tour Leader! Hard to choose one stand out memorable experience because the entire trip was memorable. The special excursions added so much value by learning so much about Greek culture and history.

This was one of the best travel tours we’ve ever taken. Our tour guide was fantastic and the hotels were even better than I imagined they’d be. We loved hiking the Acropolis, shopping in Mykonos, a sunset dinner in Santorini - it was all fantastic!

Mark and Marian were wonderful the entire tour. Marian was kind, helpful, and very informative. She told stories and made sure everyone was present on each tour. Mark did more than just drive and carry suitcases. He told jokes, offered kindness, and was a good guy to be around. Ireland was gorgeous, and these wonderful people just completed the experience.

The hotels were OUTSTANDING! Much better than expected. The morning meals were very good and the dinners included were also fantastic with plenty of choices! The tour guide really made the trip! Her knowledge of the surrounding areas and the places we were going to visit was very informative! We all loved her stories and sense of humor. This was a fantastic way to see Ireland for the first time. I can't wait to go back and revisit aa couple of the locations, and venture out to a few more. If you're never been to a particular country, Collete Travel is the best way to see it! It's like a Cruise Ship on land where almost everything is taken care of for you!
